Who is it for?

For any child or young person, aged 0-25, with additional needs and/or a disability with their parents/carers, siblings and friends.

What to expect

Mane Chance Sanctuary is a working farm where children can come and meet and greet their ponies, chickens and dogs. There is also a lovely pond and orchard area where you can sit outside or a barn facility depending on the weather.

Capacity: 6 participants

Children and young people must be accompanied by a parent/carer

Cost: £8.50 per participant

What do I need? Bring your own snacks and drinks. Wear appropriate outdoor clothing for all weather conditions.

“The f⁶it family activity day at Mane Chance was such an amazing afternoon. My daughter was so nervous to start with and didn't want to stay but the staff were so kind and patient. They really made her feel comfortable. You can tell that they really enjoy what they do and are understanding of the needs of the children. The farm is beautiful, well maintained and all the animals looked well cared for. It was a very relaxed and calming experience. Thank you for organising!”
