“It is so important… to take part and experience the fun and achievement of sport and physical activity.”

Children and a coach sit in a circle in their sport wheelchairs inside a bright sports hall, holding basketballs and smiling as they listen to instructions. The large windows let in natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Wheelchair Multi-Sports

Children in wheelchairs, supported by adults, take part in a boccia session inside a sports hall. A parent leans over to help a young player line up their throw while the scoreboard and scattered boccia balls can be seen on the floor.

Boccia

Two children stand side by side in a sports hall, each using brightly coloured walking frames. They wear football kits and are looking across the hall, appearing ready to join in the next part of their session.

Frame Football

A young boy holding a bright red plastic cricket bat prepares to play in a sports hall, while another child in a sport wheelchair bowls the ball towards him. A volunteer kneels nearby, smiling and offering encouragement.

  • "Max got to meet other children and experience sports he's never tried before, basketball, tennis, even kicking a football. Inclusive sports are difficult, but not impossible. We are grateful to the f⁶it team for their time, effort, resources, commitment and determination to provide Max and many others the opportunity to be included as this doesn't exist in our area."
