A group of young players wearing green and black football kits proudly stand together on a football pitch, many using walking frames, with medals around their necks..

Who is it for?

Frame football is most appropriate for 5-16 year olds with Cerebral Palsy and other ambulant physical disabilities. Both boys and girls are welcome!

We have two groups:

  • One for frame-users

  • We have a second group for non-frame users with mild ambulant physical disabilities.

What to expect

Our Frame Football, in partnership with Beacon Hill Flames Football Club, runs every second Saturday afternoon during term time - alternating with wheelchair multi-sports and Boccia.

Our friendly Beacon Hill Football Club coaches engage the children with skills practice and give them plenty of opportunity to enjoy playing matches.

At the end of each session a player of the week is announced.

Dates & times: Fortnightly Saturdays during term time from 15:00-16:30.

Venue: The Edge Leisure Centre, Woolmer Hill Road, Haslemere, GU271QB (Full venue details)

Coaches: Alex, Neil, Dan, Richard, Manual, Angela

Cost: Free

What do I need? Comfortable clothing and water to drink. All football equipment is provided. We have a couple of game frames available if children wanted to try them

We are grateful to Sport England & Waverley Borough Council for supporting our Frame Football.

A smiling boy in glasses stands confidently using a red walker, wearing a green and black football kit with the N2 Veterinary Supplies sponsor logo. He poses in front of a goal net, raising one arm in celebration.

“Max talks about his football sessions every day and counts down to the next one. It’s so lovely to hear him chatting away excitedly with his brothers about his experiences at Flames and joining in when they talk about all things football.”

“There are so few activities geared up for frame users, this is a really important part of our week”
